Introduction to Athletic and Sports Taping

This course is designed to help individuals learn the best practice and application of athletic and sport taping in a sporting environment. Techniques covered will include both on field and in clinic techniques along with safety guidelines.

The course is designed for individuals looking to help individuals with injury prevention and management, or to assist with sports teams and athletes. It is geared towards both students and therapists (physiotherapists, kinesiologists, athletic therapists, chiropractors, etc..).

This Course will cover taping techniques for the Ankle/Foot, Wrist/Hand, Shoulder, Knee and Elbow. There will be both lecture and practical sessions, with an emphasis on the practical component of the course.

The course is limited to 14 spots to ensure each attendee is given adequate instruction and supervision

A certificate of completion will be given at the end of the course.

Cost: $125 Early Bird/ $150 Regular Registration per registrant. (Early Bird ends on August 30)

Course Materials will include an emailed copy of the presentation notes. A Light breakfast and snacks will be provided.

All taping supplies and materials will be provided to attendees of the course for purpose of instruction and practice.

Additional supplies and materials will be available for purchase.

Participants are encouraged to wear loose fitting clothing.

The Athlete’s Knee: Injuries, Rehab and Clinical Considerations

This course is designed to help rehab professionals best manage and treat athletes with various knee injuries. From simple strains and sprains to complex multi tears, KORE Rehab aims to simplify treatment approaches and give practitioners the knowledge and tools to help best manage their clients.

Courses will cover anatomy and biomechanics of the knee, surface anatomy, common clinical pathologies seen in athletes, assessment of knee mechanics and structures, clinical considerations for rehab and on field management, and treatment strategies.

*All registrants are required to be in good standing with their respective regulatory college and are required to have their own malpractice insurance.
